Public Notice: The City of Portageville has been notified by Pittsburg Tank that they will begin maintenance on the Foster Avenue water tower tomorrow (1/7/26) morning. The water department will begin draining the tower this evening in order for the maintenance to take place. There will be no disruption of service due to the maintenance. Customers may experience discoloration while the tower is being refilled after the maintenance is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The water tower in Meatte Park will also undergo maintenance at a later date.
