9/7/23 Council Meeting Rescheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023

The Building Commission and Monthly Meeting of the Portageville Board of Aldermen have been cancelled for tonight, September 7, 2023, and rescheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023, due to not having a quorum. On September 12, 2023, the Building Commission meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. Both will be held at City Hall, 301 E Main St., Portageville.
Labor Day Closure, Meeting Changes and Trash Schedule Changes

City departments will be off on Monday, September 4, 2023 in observance of Labor Day. In case of emergency with any City service, please call the Portageville Police Department at 573-379-5500, and they will get in touch with the department supervisor.

The City of Portageville Board of Aldermen would like to thank John Harris, Representative Donnie Brown, New Madrid County Highway Department, and New Madrid Commissioners: Mark Baker, Bobby Aycock and Mike Kellams for their work on improving the drainage situation along Highway 162 West in Portageville.
Thank you for helping alleviate some of the drainage issues our citizens were facing by digging out ditches and replacing culverts. We appreciate your continued commitment to our community!
