The City of Portageville Animal Services' department provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

• Responding to stray animal complaints
• Investigating dangerous animals
• Impoundments
• Adoptions
• Barking dog complaints
• Carcass removal
• Ordinance enforcement

To reach the Animal Control Officer during normal business hours please use the contact information below. For after hours emergencies, please contact the Portageville Police Department at 573-379-5500 and they will call out Animal Control if necessary.
