Thanksgiving Closure

City departments will be off on Thursday, November 23, 2023, and Friday, November 24, 2023, in observance of Thanksgiving. In case of emergency with any City service, please call the Portageville Police Department at 573-379-5500, and they will get in touch with the department supervisor.
Inflateables Prohibited On City Property

As a reminder, all inflateables are prohibited on City property which includes all City Parks. This is not a new policy and is clearly stated in the V.T. and Rita Rogers Building Rental Rules found on our website (V.T. and Rita Rogers Building Rules). These are also handed out to any citizen who puts up a deposit and rents the building.
Columbus Day Closure

9/7/23 Council Meeting Rescheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023

The Building Commission and Monthly Meeting of the Portageville Board of Aldermen have been cancelled for tonight, September 7, 2023, and rescheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023, due to not having a quorum. On September 12, 2023, the Building Commission meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. Both will be held at City Hall, 301 E Main St., Portageville.
