Due to the upcoming holidays, please be advised that the trash pickup for Portageville citizens will be altered on the weeks of December 22nd-28th AND December 29th-January 4th. Please make sure that your trash is set out the night before your scheduled pick-up day as trucks may run earlier than normal.
If your normal trash day is Monday, trash will be picked up on Sunday (trash will need to be sat out on Saturday night) for the two weeks specified above. If your normal trash day is Wednesday, trash will be picked up on Tuesday (trash will need to be sat out on Monday night) for the two weeks specified above. There will be no changes to Friday pickup.
City of Portageville offices will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24 & 25, 2024, in observance of the Christmas holiday, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in observance of New Year’s Day. In case of emergency, please contact the Portageville Police Department and they will contact the appropriate department supervisor.
