Water service was restored to the Portageville Public Water System last night. A huge Thank You goes out to our city workers, citizens and surrounding communities who donated time and resources to assist our Water Department in repairing the water main. A Precautionary Boil Water Advisory was issued yesterday and will remain in place until sample results are received. Pallets of bottled water were donated for citizens to utilize during the advisory and can be picked up during normal business hours from City Hall, 301 E Main Street, while supplies last.
