Labor Day Closure, Meeting Changes and Trash Schedule Changes

City departments will be off on Monday, September 4, 2023 in observance of Labor Day. In case of emergency with any City service, please call the Portageville Police Department at 573-379-5500, and they will get in touch with the department supervisor.
The Board of Aldermen meeting, regularly scheduled for the first Monday of the month, has been postponed until Thursday, September 7, 2023 due to the Labor Day holiday. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 301 East Main Street, Portageville.
Sharp's Disposal will NOT be picking up trash on Monday, September 4, 2023. For Portageville customers on Monday's route, your trash will need to be set out Monday night after 7:00 p.m. for pickup on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
